Brains SA is a copper-coloured bitter premium ale with a nutty richness to it. The perfect blend of rich and malty premium ale.
SA Gold

Our zesty and hoppy golden ale is full of flavour, making it an easy to drink beer with distinctive citrus notes.
Dark
CASK ● KEG ● BOTTLE
Mild and chocolatey, our dark beer is treacle coloured and offers the flavours of liquorice and freshly ground coffee.
1882 Bitter

The famous ‘pint of Brains’ is rich amber coloured, well balanced and refreshing. Goldings and Fuggles hops from The Welsh Marches create an appetising crisp aroma to complement the subtle flavour of fine pale malt.

Our Rev. James ales were named in honour of the Rev. James Buckley, saver of souls and satisfier of thirsts. The origin of this recipe dates back to 1885!
Rev James Reserve
CASK ● BOTTLE
Brewed to honour Reverend James Buckley, this 5.5% ale celebrates 140 years of brewing with a fuller body. Based on the 1885 recipe, it blends caramel and fruit with hints of raisin and plum for a smooth, complex finish.
